Hi, I'm jacob estep!

I'm a Junior studying Computer Science at West Virginia Wesleyan College. I want to reimagine the devices we carry with us every day. Scroll down to see some my newest projects.

Hito Vision
For quite a while, I've wanted to design a mixed reality headset, but it wasn't until a few months ago I was able to use a real, not-phone-based headset and understand what it would need. Now, here is Hito Vision, a flagship mixed reality headset with some interesting optics and Hito Connect Core. As usual, your feedback is always appreciated!
Hito Stand for PC
From the start of my desktop PC concept work, I wanted to bring Surface Book-like versatility to the desktop. Many of us already have a quality touch-screen display on our laptops, so why not merge that with the power of a desktop tower? As usual, feedback is always appreciated!
Hito PC
Desktop PC's are great for gamers and power users, but that performance is only utilized part of the time. What if we could easily stream performance securely and privately from a sort of 'performance hub' to any device we wanted? As usual, feedback is always appreciated!
Hito Book
I've had this project in the works for well over a year now. First, I introduced it as the Clover Book in some teaser shots, now it's Hito Book. This detachable laptop is inspired by the Surface Book, but with a Hito twist. As usual, feedback is always appreciated!
Hito Phone₂
I've been working on a whole new Hito family of hardware for a few months and it's finally coming together to publish. This is the first of quite a few concept devices: Hito Phone₂. As usual, feedback is always appreciated!
Hito Phone B₂
When I published my first Hito Phone B project, I wanted to make a more budget oriented Hito Phone. Now, I've updated it with the features in Hito Phone₂. As usual, feedback is always appreciated
Hito Phone F
In the same vein as Hito Phone H, my concept smart home phone, I wanted to rethink the feature phone. Specifically, as feature phones are becoming 'detox phones' from social media, tracking, and having to be always on. So, here's Hito Phone F: a stripped back phone with Google Assistant, a great camera, and the basics of what a phone needs to do. As usual, feedback is always appreciated!
Hito Watch₂
Earlier this year I published my Hito Watch project, and I've already updated it! Hito Watch₁ was a bit simple with only 1 button, and I had left out music playback. With this second version, I wanted to add more features, more buttons, and generally polish it up. As usual, feedback is always appreciated!
